FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If the document processing, permits applications and Trade Recognition Certification process has commenced, the processing fee is not refundable. It is only refundable if the candidate withdraws their application before job offer or before any of the above processes have not been initiated and this inititated with a 40% termination to cover the adminstrative and logistical costs incurred in managing the candidate's profile and processing.

The service fees paid by candidates is inclusive of all third party payments (Overseas Partners and service providers) including some other non refundable government related registrations and processing fees.
You are required to pay 60% of Documentation Processing and Registration fees once your application has been accepted and the balance you are required to pay it on work permit grant. The same applies to the Agency service fee, you are required to pay a 50% deposit on service contract signing then the balance on work permit grant.
We only register you as our candidate when your profile has been accepted by the employer. Only after the employer notifies us of their interest in proceeding with your application, that is when we request you to sign a service contract with us and to request you to pay the processing fees. The candidate has an obligation to pass their interviews and convicne the employer that they are the right fit for their placement needs
Visa outcomes are the prerogative of the issuing authority only. Skilled Worker Connect has no influence over the decision of the visa processing authotities. All our service agreement contracts are not defined and limited to visa outcomes. We assess the visa outcomes on an individual basis which guides us as to whetehr proceed with alternative placements or provide guidence on how to appeal or re-apply for another visa. Work permit remains valid.

We always advise candidates to seek legal advise from an immigration expert or lawyer. Skilled Worker Connect operates as a Recruitment Agency and our services do not extend to Migration or Immigration services.
Yes! The visa and the residence permit you are granted allows you to bring your family, provided you find your own accommodation, not the shared accommodation provided by the employers
All the employers have indicated that in shared accomodation the maximum capacity is 3 people in an expansive room. These are domitory accomodation setups, so you cannot bring your family into shared accomodation. You can stay there for the duration of your contract. If you decide to move out of company provided accommodation, you have to consider that the company only provide free transportation within a 10km radius of the warehouses or factory sites.
